Tower Crane Assessment Duration
1 Day FAS CSCS Tower Crane Assessment (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm).
Location
This 1 day Tower Crane Assessment course is available on-site on your premises anywhere in the Republic of Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and machines are needed for the practical. The Certificate of Thorough Examination for the machine must be in date where required.
Tower Crane Course Description
The Programme will consist of a combination of a classroom session of underpinning knowledge relating to Tower Crane operations, and practical operation of the Tower Crane.

Trainee Requirements
Candidates must be over 18 and may attend the Tower Crane Assessment by a choice of 2 routes:
Candidates who have no experience of operating Tower Cranes must complete the 3 day New Entrant Tower Crane course before attending the FAS CSCS Assessment (listed on our Course List).
Experienced Tower Crane Operators who have not attended the 3 day New Entrant programme may present for the Tower Crane Assessment subject to filling out the required Self Assessment / Declaration paperwok and satisfying the relevant criteria. Please contact our office for further information.
Candidates must hold a current Slinger Signaller FAS CSCS card before applying for Crane New Entrant Training or Crane Assessments.
All candidates must hold a current FAS Safe Pass Registration Card.
PPE Requirements
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest.

This FAS CSCS Tower Crane Assessment is suitable for anyone who wishes to achieve the CSCS Tower Crane card (ticket) which is required for Tower Crane drivers on construction sites.

Tower Crane Certification
