Telescopic Handler Assessment Duration
1 Day FAS CSCS Telescopic Handler Assessment (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm).

Location
This 1 day Telescopic Handler Assessment course is available on-site on your premises anywhere in the Republic of Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and machines are needed for the practical. The Certificate of Thorough Examination for the machine must be in date where required.

The 1 Day FAS CSCS Telescopic Handler course is also available at our Training Centre in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Telescopic Handler Certification
On successful completion of this FAS CSCS Telescopic Handler Assessment you will be issued with a FETAC Certificate and FAS CSCS Operator Card for Telescopic Handlers.

Telescopic Handler Course Description
The Programme will consist of a combination of a classroom session of underpinning knowledge relating to Telescopic Handler operations, and practical operation of the Telescopic Handler.

Trainee Requirements
Candidates must be over 18 and may attend the Telescopic Handler Assessment by a choice of 2 routes:

Candidates who have no experience of operating Telescopic Handler must complete the 3 day New Entrant Telescopic Handler course before attending the FAS CSCS Assessment (listed on our Course List).

Experienced Telescopic Handler Operators who have not attended the 3 day New Entrant programme may present for the Telescopic Handler Assessment subject to filling out the required Self Assessment / Declaration paperwok and satisfying the relevant criteria. All candidates must hold a current FAS Safe Pass Registration Card.

PPE Requirements
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest.

This FAS CSCS Telescopic Handler Assessment is suitable for anyone who wishes to achieve the CSCS Telescopic Handler card (ticket) which is required for Telescopic Handler drivers on construction sites.

Course Objectives
To assess delegates on the knowledge and skills needed to operate Telescopic Handler safely.
