Mobile Crane Assessment Duration
1 Day FAS CSCS Mobile Crane Assessment (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm).

Location
This 1 day Mobile Crane training course is available on-site on your premises anywhere in the Republic of Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and machines are needed for the practical. The Certificate of Thorough Examination for the machine must be in date where required.

The 1 Day FAS CSCS Mobile Crane course is also available at our Training Centre in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Mobile Crane Certification
On successful completion of this FAS CSCS Mobile Crane Assessment you will be issued with a FETAC Certificate and FAS CSCS Operator Card for Mobile Cranes.

Mobile Crane Course Description
The Programme will consist of a combination of a classroom session of underpinning knowledge relating to Mobile Crane operations, and practical operation of the Mobile Crane.

Trainee Requirements
Candidates must be over 18 and may attend the Mobile Crane Assessment by a choice of 2 routes:

Candidates who have no experience of operating Mobile Cranes must complete the 3 day New Entrant Mobile Crane course before attending the FAS CSCS Assessment (listed on our Course List).

Experienced Mobile Crane Operators who have not attended the 3 day New Entrant programme may present for the Mobile Crane Assessment subject to filling out the required Self Assessment / Declaration paperwok and satisfying the relevant criteria. Please contact our office for further information.

Candidates must hold a current Slinger Signaller FAS CSCS card before applying for Crane New Entrant Training or Crane Assessments.

All candidates must hold a current FÁS Safe Pass Registration Card.

PPE Requirements
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest.

This FAS CSCS Mobile Crane Assessment  is suitable for anyone who wishes to achieve the CSCS Mobile Crane card (ticket) which is required for Mobile Crane drivers on construction sites.

Course Objectives
To assess delegates on the knowledge and skills needed to operate Mobile Cranes safely.
